Katal is an activist organization working with the Community to promote rights for parolees and has successfully passed legislation granting them rights. They have placed our notorious prison, Rikers Island, in Federal receivership. I have worked with them on these projects. Now , they’re turning their attention to preserving our Democracy. Join them!

Last week, for the 60th Anniversary of Medicaid, communities came together and held a 60-hour vigil on the National Mall directly in front of the U.S. Capitol where they held elected leaders accountable for their disastrous decision to cut Medicaid.
