I wish I could state, Tesla’s construction site in Austin, Texas, is an outlying case of labor abuse, it isn’t. Unfortunately, Corporate America has become used to charging customers exorbitant fees, while hurting labor, literally and figuratively. Today, it’s Tesla we’re discussing. They’re not following OHSA Laws, they’re not enforcing job training, they’re not paying … More AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce The state of Corporate America/ unaccountable & without Rules & oversight TESLA GIGAFACTORY EXAMPLE

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce In a first special report on our climate, the Guardian sites scientists concerns and historical archeological data. The Indigenous people have seen and lived with droughts before. They know what creates harmony with the land and people and culture wars create a society of violence. Scientists have been warning our Congressional leaders since the late 70’s , that we are altering our climate, limiting our water resources and creating pollution too dire to exist. From California to the Colorado our way of life must change. If we choose to cooperate, conserve Water and act responsibly to decrease our dependence on Fossil Fuels, we will live to rebuild. TheVoiceOfJoyce This will be one of many cases against Meta/Facebook and other Social Media platforms. When we agree to their terms, are we protecting our rights to privacy or are we signing our rights away. Facebook and the other media platforms make money from our data. They sell our data. That is their business model. Would we know what we read, when we signed, I agree? Do we want control over our data? I think we do. I don’t want to be targeted for goods and services relentlessly, do you? Nor do I want to be manipulated politically? Do you? Remember a 100,000 ads were targeted to Trump followers in 2016. If you watch those ads , it’s very possible, you’ll believe what you see. What if what you see is not truthful? Would you believe misinformation?

TheVoiceOfJoyce Another by product of Climate Change, pathogens unfamiliar with new territory are landing on our shores, carried by vectors, mosquitoes and others, bringing us malaria, west Nile disease, Covid and many more. As the world continues to heat, refugees are forced off their lands and carry diseases indigenous to their regions, to ours. Another reason to care about Climate Mitigation now. The benefits of Mitigation are a better quality of life and new jobs for new infrastructure industries. Being proactive will pay off in improved health and quality of life!

TheVoiceOfJoyce Climate Bill passed the Senate. It’s expected to be signed by the House & President and be a major step in Carbon Emission reductions. We’ll reach 40% reduction by the end of this decade, create 1.5 million clean energy jobs and offer massive incentives to people for switching to clean technologies: $8000 for heat pumps for cooling, Postal Fleet goes electric, $7500 credit to purchase electric cars and the bill insists on capping methane and carbon leaks into communities. Capping toxins curbs unnecessary deaths from pollutants and saves refineries money. Coupled with Medicare pricing negotiations, this bill is a win win for Society. A major step toward Climate Mitigation.

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce In our country, the rights of the Corporation supersede the rights of labor. The Republicans think Jennifer Abruzzo is too radical? , She has the credentials to enforce the Rights of Labor. She was part of the Clean Slate for Labor Committee, agreeing on Laws that favor Labor and Unionization. It’s time, to use the power of the Law , to give Labor rights and better wages and encourage Unionization ! Unionization provides a living wage, benefits and shop floor safety, giving Labor a seat at the Corporate table. With all the Corporate abuses labor and the general population are subjected to, it’s time to give Labor a voice. Jennifer Abruzzo has a job to do. If she’s the right person at the right time, America may actually see a resurrection of the Middle Classes, once again?!

Now, the People know it’s a necessity to bargain collectively for pay, benefits, work life balance. They want a seat at the table and will collect the necessary votes before year end. With a friendly NLRB, Delta’s previous Union busting tactics, may not to advised. Kudos, the People have spoken once again!
