TheVoiceOfJoyce Why isn’t online encouragement of violence and harassment prosecuted? Why should members of Congress, the January 6 Committee or other members of Federal or State Legislatures be the target of violence and harassment, on known Social Media Platforms and platforms used by the alt right and the Trump organization? Corporations are now self regulating. All corporations. There were Laws in place giving the DEA the power to prosecute and follow the money in Opioid distribution. Those Laws were overturned by the Marino Law, named for the Republican sponsoring this Law. Now the Law states, if a Corporation says, they had no intention of addicting others, they can’t be prosecuted. Self regulation brought America an Opioid problem, resulting in 100,000 deaths a year. Peoples lives can be saved by Regulating an industry. There is no difference between a “ brick and mortar corporation” and an online Platform. They all require Regulation. Change Section 230 of the Communication Decency Act and eliminate violent and abusive platforms. There are 300 million + guns in our Country, what’s said on Social Media and online platforms, doesn’t stay virtual!

TheVoiceOfJoyce Day 232 and Russia continues their rhetoric, fierce fighting in the Kherson region and Russia attempting to take over the spent fuel from the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. Annexation of the 4 provinces has been condemned by the UN. The Russian missiles that struck 40 cities, disabled their energy infrastructure temporarily. The facilities are back on line. Many young people are returning to towns and villages devastated by Russian occupation and helping the Communities rebuild. Erdogan continues to make deals with Putin for Turkey and a “ ceasefire leading to Peace”. The entire World condemns Putin’s act of aggression, yet only Ukrainian might can force Putin to the bargaining table. Russian missiles, though damaging, are not up to Western offensives or defenses.

The Russians are demoralized and hitting civilian buildings in a town in Zaporizhzhia , 80 miles from the their Nuclear Power Plant held by Russia. The Kerch bridge to Russia from Crimea has been damaged, in a first assault. There will be other attempts to destroy the bridge? Meanwhile, Zelensky’s forces move forward claiming territory. Next week the UN General Assembly votes to condemn the Russian annexation of the 4 provinces. The War isn’t over, not yet.

TheVoiceOfJoyce The brave Ukrainian soldiers taking more than 500 sq km are encountering resistance &/ or Russians abandoning their kit, weapons and tanks. Many Russians are afraid of capture , thinking the Ukrainians will be like them and submit them to torture. Unfortunately, everywhere Ukrainians retake villages, they find mass graves or torture sites. Kharkiv is liberated and headway is being made in the south in Kherson. The fighting continues, Putin’s support, in his inner circle, is weakening. Will the Russian people become disenchanted with the War? Does it matter? Erdogan is pressing Putin to agree to a Peace. Putin , unless deposed, is the only one able to end this War of aggression. Meanwhile, he’s holding on to power and getting money by plundering the Global South. This was a known established route for aide and relief, if Ukrainians were “willing” to become Russian citizens, why bomb this known convoy? Fierce fighting continues in the Luthansk region, in spite of the Referendums. Ukraine’s counteroffensive is not stopping, no matter what Putin declares. As predicted, Russia’s new recruits have been sent to the front lines and many are already in retreat and surrounded. The Ukrainians are not giving up territory and seek to turn Putin’s initial victory into defeat.

Are new Ukrainian plans and preparations, made to liberate Ukrainian citizens trapped in the 4 regions, awaiting annexation by Putin? What then? Will Putin continue to use Ukrainians as human shields? In Putin’s war, everyone but him, is expendable. Prior to the sham Referendums, the Nord Stream pipeline linking Russia to Europe, was bombed, leaving plumes of methane gas in the Baltic Sea, further deteriorating our climate’ s ability to mitigate Climate extremes . Sabotage by Russia is assumed and must be verified. Russian citizens are still leaving Russia for other Countries to avoid conscription. TheVoiceOfJoyce Day 213 and there’s activities on the Finnish border, as young Russians escape the Russian draft. Now that white collar job holders are exempt from the draft, Putin is targeting the poor and hopes to conscript young Ukrainian men, from the 4 regions holding sham Referendums. Ukraine has no choice, they must disrupt the balloting process and continue their counteroffensive as quickly as possible. In Putin’s mind, the Referendums, at gun point, make the 4 territories Russian territory, in need of defenses. That’s his delusion, the reality, Ukraine is winning the Counteroffensive. They must be prepared to push through all Russian territory and have a firm control of their Country, before pushing Russians back to Russia. Putin must be desperate for cash, if he’s asking to let Russian fertilizer sales resume. These sales should be conditional on leaving Ukraine, stopping the Referendums and agreeing to a Ceasefire. The War continues.
