Dear followers:
I “figured it out”, like the song says, it took time, but my evolution has succeeded in finding a way forward for our Democracy without bloodshed. We will use New York State as a test case.
New York has 2 Senators and sends 27 folks to the house of Representatives. I would propose to take crony capitalism out of the mix. We would pay $15 Million a year to keep qualified talented individuals in Congress, if they decide to give up all outside fund raising and do the people’s bidding.
I propose NY State because I live here and because Govtrack.us (affiliated with the Sunlight Foundation ) , is here, along with The Brennan Law Center.

“We the people “would propose the bills we want passed to the Congressmen and women that “we the people ” select and elect to represent us in Congress. You may wish to consider the existing list of NY State Senators and Representatives in Congress and if dissatisfied, elect new people. This would be a test of our effectiveness as an electorate.
We propose and they propose our collective wishes. We would of course broadcast their views ( I propose Periscope with me ) and then make a decision to retain or replace them.
