This tool was taken down by the Trump Administration because it assesses Climate Related Risks. Going by County it warns authorities of the vulnerability of their region to Climate Crisis and monetizes the harm.
It’s a great tool for government agencies, insurance companies and the Public. It helps communities prepare for emergencies. Why take it down? Any tool that quantifies risk from climate extremes is a deterrent to the use of Fossil Fuels.
This government doesn’t care that 2024 east the hottest year Globally or that emissions have soared. They’re not interested in lives saved, only profits gained.
