AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Forest fires in California, Oregon, Washington and Canada are triggering dangerous pollution levels. Residents are being told to remain indoors to avoid inhaling pollutants. The Tour de Lake Tahoe, an annual 72 mile bike ride around Lake Tahoe has been canceled for Sunday. The smoke has travelled to Vancouver , Canada and deemed unsafe to breathe. Folks working on a Canadian pipeline had to remain indoors. Fires now carry dangerous levels of smoke and pollutants to vast areas beyond their origination. Smoke plumes can be seen by satellites circling the Globe. Is it time to plan for our future with less heat, fires, pollutants? Are you concerned for the safety & health of your families? Is there a cost associated with your ability to survive & thrive? It has long been alleged, that Google sells our data to 3 rd Parties and those 3 rd Parties pay revenue to Google. Based on our behavior, we see “ Google ads selectively prioritized. These ads, may not be ads originating from the UK or the Netherlands. The Google ad roster may not benefit local newspapers or small businesses from the region of search. Those newspapers and businesses have been deemed by the UK & The Netherlands to have been harmed. The government’s are suing Google under the new Regulations, seeking damages of $25 Billion. AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce, when workers are maltreated, love 1/2 their pensions or experience pay cuts during inflationary times, they should have their right to Unionize restored. Unfortunately, the NLRB, has lost manpower, however, why can’t they restore the rights of labor to organize across a Sector? Why does every Amazon, Starbucks or Trader Joe’s have to Unionize separately, why not collectively, across the entire sector? In these times of Inflation, making a living wage is imperative for survival, why can’t the Labor Laws reflect the Rights of Labor? Who in the NLRB, can write a Clean Slate for Labor and give “We the People “, a Voice?

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce In San Francisco Bay and Lake Merritt, there is a dark toxic algae bloom and a massive fish die off. The Putrid odor can be smelled immediately. What caused this die off? Most likely waste water high in Nitrogen and other chemicals that are filtered by the treatment plant coupled with the drought, the fish have no oxygen to survive. Without fish of all sizes, will the birds come? This was there feeding ground. How many circumstances of fish dying off can we, as a consumer, tolerate. Food insecurity is already on the rise. One more problem to tackle before the next heat wave hits. Still think we’re wise to have no back up to fossil fuels? There’s no debate. Our World is changing rapidly, we’re experiencing temperatures that will continue to increase. It’s predicted, this will be the coolest of the hot years. What’s America’s plan for the equitable survival of all citizens? We certainly can’t afford a political Party that says no, to Voting Rights and no to R&D of renewable energy and their implementation and no to moving forward with our lives.

There is a remedy and “ We, the People”, can support Sheldon Winehouse’s DISCLOSE ACT and follow up bills, making all political contributions over $10,000, disclosable to the SEC and totally transparent. The investigative Press are supporting this Act. There is too much opposition against the Peoples right to know who’s suppressing our Voting Rights, our Healthcare benefits our ability to mitigate climate. The Koch wealth has suppressed the Disclose Act for 10 yrs. Many Corporations have led in Suppressing these bills as well. It’s time the Public was involved in determining our right to Political transparency. Or do “We, the People “, want to return to a feudal era of low pay and destitution, when we can have progress and a good life and livelihood? It’s our choice!

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce You might not want to call flooding events “Climate Change”! However, severe flooding is occurring and reoccurring in the same hot drought areas repeatedly. There’s a lot of water vapor building up in the atmosphere that precipitates the flooding. To adapt, acknowledge fossil fuels are causing thunderstorms of catastrophic proportions and anchor your homes and have exits ready in the short term. In the medium turn, determine how to collect the water from these deluges and channel/ pipe the water effectively to streams and Lakes depleted by the preceding drought. Be innovative and proactive to survive, because flooding is not going to stop or be a once in a 1000 year occurrence. In extreme hot and drought stricken regions, flooding and destruction of infrastructure is the new normal.

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce Starbucks personnel are penalized for forming a Union. 200 shops are Unionized and 75 employees have been terminated and harassed by management for being part of the Union. Several Starbucks locations are on strike, protesting their lack pay, harassment and lack of benefits. The NLRB is investing all Starbucks employee claims. Good luck! The Rules of a Clean Slate for Workers, would make the process of Unionization easier, eliminating Corporate interference. It would , also, allow for sectoral Unionization. A win win for labor and their Community.

As the world continues to heat, refugees are forced off their lands and carry diseases indigenous to their regions, to ours. Another reason to care about Climate Mitigation now. The benefits of Mitigation are a better quality of life and new jobs for new infrastructure industries. Being proactive will pay off in improved health and quality of life!

TheVoiceOfJoyce From the FINANCIAL TIMES: Charts of the California drought over the last 22 yrs. 2007, 2011 were pivot points when California ceased having intermittent droughts and heat. The heat causes a loop effect, creating more heat , more dryness as the temperature rises. Now, it’s not unusual for California temperatures to increase 20 degrees Fahrenheit. The droughts, fires and dry ground fuel each other making Climate Extremes more prevalent and dangerous. ( Giving my interpretation of conditions because I can’t share FT articles with all my followers)
