TheVoiceOfJoyce Instead of talking about our rise in violence & meanness, we, everyone of us, can aim for one decent act per day. I still believe our Economic stagnation is causal to meanness & violence. That coupled with cancel culture & identity politics, encourages mistrust, where everyone is the enemy. A healthy productive society doesn’t have tone for meanness! We cure our sick. We pay decent wages and staff jobs appropriately, not stingily! Treat peopke with respect and dignity and we’ll see a less violent & mean person! We’re all waiting for the Hobs Act, the child care relief and educational program! Pass those bills before vacation and people will feel valued. Without Fundamental Change , standards of care, labor rights there is no progress!

Description of EPI #84 Compassion & Science? TrumpsGOP are ready to protect their domain, even if it kills us and it is. They’re controlling how we vote and how we think. In many states they write history as they see it and don’t teach evolution. No wonder there’s fear of Vaccination Science and collaborative science … More TheVoiceOfJoyce YouTube Tuesday, EPI #84 Science https://youtu.be/EdgEnB9ss30

TheVoiceOfJoyce It’s great the Fed can recover Ransom paid in Bitcoin from Russian hackers , called the DarkSide. However, if dedicated IT were monitoring critical infrastructure, we wouldn’t be vulnerable. If the architects of the Internet had placed early warning signs onNetworks, ransom would be deterred. We need a “belt & suspenders “ approach to protecting critical infrastructure!

TheVoiceOfJoyce Teens temporarily filling low paying jobs & that’s beneficial to them. America still has a problem creating work at decent pay for the 20+ age group. When will wages increase so they can form and support families?Sooner, rather than later ,wages must rise and new jobs created to absorb millions. Starvation is not a solution. Neither is a permanent non working class!

TheVoiceOfJoyce What do the jobs #’s really mean? Who is getting work and who isn’t. It’s clear young people in their 20’s & 30’s are not entering the job market. Information Technology is lagging and millions are still out of work. We need the Infrastructure and the American Families Act now to stimulate our economy and improve productivity and our way of life!

TheVoiceOfJoyce The Employee is back in “the drivers seat”! Asking for and getting better wages, benefits and at IBM , apprenticeship in house training. Perhaps we’ll get back to “our” valued employees! It’s a start.

TheVoiceOfJoyce If you want to Unionize with ease, the NLRB Laws that were changed by Elaine Chow, Mitch McConnells wife, must be changed back to favor Unionization over Corporate Power. That’s why Bessemer didn’t succeed. Before, if you wanted a Union, you met in private off site, cast a secret ballot and no one could interfere in your Right to Organize. Union members set the rules of their employment, had a say in working conditions & followed Safety Standards. They were also given a chance to purchase voting stock and a say in Corporate relations. There’s a lot to be gained, ask for Fundamental Change! Ron Wydon of Oregon, is ready to help!

TheVoiceOfJoyce Another Ransomware attack. This time crippling meat production & distribution. Stop relying on luck and large payoffs to criminal organizations. Critical Infrastructure as defined by Homeland Security should advocate and enforce the position of Professional IT staffing to ensure critical infrastructure is protected. It cheaper for our country and our Institutions. Everyone wins. No supply chain description.

TheVoiceOfJoyce No wonder today’s GOP doesn’t want History to reflect America’s racist past, in many Southern & TrumpsGOP controlled States, they are racist in their response to unemployment benefits. They look upon benefits as a deterrent to work. African Americans get much less than the white population and now they want to cut out benefits that should have extended through September. Raising wages helps everyone. Increased wages equals increased productivity & less inflation. Realistically, until the Jobs act and For the Families Act, child care and many unemployment benefits haven’t reached long term unemployed or workers in the Gig economy. There will be a lag in employment until people experience relief from economic pain and experience the benefits of child care allowances and resumption of schooling. What we’re-seeing is temporary. Be patient and work with your constituents.

TheVoiceOfJoyce Just inTime inventory has left the World with shortages in many products and inflation. I came from manufacturing in the 70’s , we had just in time deliveries & we anticipated our needs. During the great proposed tire shortage, Ford stockpiled 5000 ties. Yes, you plan and just like you read a room, why was there a failure in thinking and planning for what happens as the Pandemic ends? We still need to stockpile PPE’s. There will be other Pandemics. If we’re to return to work, we need the Jobs Act and the For the Families Act to pass. Note: Inflation temporary, jobs at decent wages must await!
