From Friday (12/12) to Sunday (12/14)
the Hands Off Coalition is holding a weekend of community actions and events.
Across every borough, we’ll distribute whistle kits, canvass businesses, and share Know Your Rights info.
There will also be park playdates, arts & crafts, zine making and other activities designed to help protect NYC from ICE’s terror.

I.C.E. is regularly abducting people off our streets. And the threat of federal troops looms.
Our message to Trump is clear: To hell with I.C.E. and to hell with Federal Troops in New York City!
Our elected officials are weak. Our message must be strong!
We will have LIVE MUSIC, chant sheets, banners, signs and a hell of a lotta NOISE – because no city should be occupied by I.C.E. or federal troops.

Elevator Maintenance Rally

Every month we protest outside of where the monthly MTA Committee Meeting is held. We demand WORKING elevators at every subway stop.
It’s been 8 years since the elevator maintenance case was filed in April 2017. It’s time to stop stalling, fix the elevators and settle the case!

We have signs for each firm and will be asking the lawyers and staff to consider their legacies (i.e. to resign).

Every month we have an in-person / zoom hybrid meeting. We feel it’s good for the soul to have that human contact.
During the meeting we plan upcoming events, actions and debrief on past events.

EVERY THURSDAY Immigration Vigil
Every Thursday, Noon – 1pm
26 Federal Plaza, Employee Entrance (Worth St. between Broadway and Lafayette)
We are now holding a weekly Immigration Vigil outside 26 Federal Plaza where the New York ICE headquarters are located, and where there are Immigration Courts and a detention area.
This building is where ICE agents have been snatching asylum seekers for no known reason other than to make Stephen Miller’s quota.
This is a quiet vigil with no chanting and minimal chit-chat; but our signs and messaging are powerful.
