TheVoiceOfJoyce researchers at Harvard, Syracuse, Virginia Commonwealth University, University of Washington, University of Texas (Austin) and the University of Western Ontario have concluded that living in Republican States , under Republican policies, may have contributed to the deaths of 217,635 lives compared with the policies in liberal states, where 171,030 lives were likely saved in 2019. The Pandemic may have caused the biggest drop in US life expectancy since 1945. The study was published in Plos One, looking at community for the benefit of society today and in the future. When you vote in the mid terms, there’s an extra incentive to vote Democrat, your life really depends on voting Democratic, it’s an established fact. Republican policies increase their states citizens mortality! Those who live in Republican states have a life expectancy between Cuba and Albania. There is a direct correlation between policy and mortality: particularly when looking at gun safety ad suicide, working class alcohol & drug induced induced mortality. TheVoiceOfJoyce The misinformation and disinformation spread on legitimate Social Media platforms goes from ultra right platforms and through retweets, like or videos, amplifies Trumps lies, that the “2020” election was stolen. 69 + million people have viewed these lies and believe Democracy is in danger. One can only wonder why haven’t they fact checked the data? Several reasons, $100 millions and $Billions have been spent perpetuating these lies, by Republican 1% ers. There’s a lot of money involved for them. Looking at the big picture, they don’t want a strong Federal government, they’re not using Fed Infrastructure funding to improve their States, they’re assuring Corporate Greed is keeping inflation high and wages low and they’re not for Ukraine either, it’s in the RNC platform. Unfortunately, for the lower and middle class Republicans, they’re turned off by elections, hostile, curtailing voting rights, storming the offices of election oversight officials and creating mayhem. Too bad there isn’t community service for these disrupters, resulting in 100’s of hours, studying civil discourse, civics, politics and education about understanding the difference between research, facts and lies. Perhaps a short course in the use of Social Media Platforms is available, too. There are two week courses available! Why accept disrespectful and abusive behavior? Use the opportunity to educate those “ now terrified “ of the system. Then , charge the Perpetrators of misinformation and disinformation with a crime. The American worker is mistreated daily by large corporations making enormous profits. If Amazon has $3.4 million to spend on Union avoidance consultants and $213 million on CEO compensation,they can upgrade employee facilities, pay a decent wage and treat people with dignity. Corporate welfare and unaccountability are no longer acceptable. When will the NLRB rewrite the rules and make a Clean Slate for workers, the Law of the Land? Self regulation of all Social Media sites , Big Tech and the spin offs, like Parlor or Truth Social, spread falsehoods that are retweeted and then they are passed back to the larger Social Media sites. Nothing stays in one silo, the algorithms and individuals creating false narratives, do it full time. Many are paid. If text doesn’t pass the moderators on major tech platforms, then videos pass. This is how false and disinformation spreads, undermining our Democracy. A few conservative players, with a vested interest to keep Trump politically active, are spreading the majority of disinformation about the Democratic Party and the January 6 th Insurrection. They’re also creating misinformation about the election and polling sites. If you remember one thing when you vote in the 2022 mid terms and you must vote, vote Democratic or Independent. The Republican Party cooperates with each other and have one platform. TheVoiceOfJoyce Whether it’s Steve Bannon, billionaire’s like Peter Thiel or TRUMPGOP led States, their aim is to subvert the will of the People. They use labels to define the enemy, while they’re the enemy of the Constitution. Remember, many were part of an Insurrection, a seditious act against the Constitution! They are curtailing our right to vote. When you go to the polls this November, vote them out of office, overwhelmingly. Our Democracy needs defenders full time, every day. Think which Laws you want codified in the next two years and advocate for them, by initiating ballot measures. “We the People” have needs that surpass big money, corporate money. However, the new GOP is heavily funded by Corporations and GOP Legislators respond to the needs of their benefactors over the needs of , “We the People”. Corporations are unregulated, that’s why weekly, I see FDA meat and poultry recalls. The FDA needs more staff for inspections and enforcement of Corporate compliance with the Law. Why should we eat tainted products? Why shouldn’t we have good standards of health care? A good education for all our children, with history, analytical skills sets and math and science skills? Education leads to innovations and innovators will lead the way forward in Climate mitigation. If you want clean air, fresh water and food security, don’t vote for TRUMPSGOP, they don’t represent us.
